Our history

Our founder, Logan’s grandparents and parents started an electrical contracting business in their humble garage in 1973. As the business flourished, Logan grew up immersed in the world of electrical work, spending his afternoons in the shop, eager to lend a hand wherever he could.

While Logan initially delved into low-voltage systems and obtained his Journeyman Electrical License, his path took a transformative turn when he discovered the wonders of renewable energy, particularly solar and micro hydro systems. This newfound passion ignited Logan's soul, shaping his life's purpose around sustainable energy.

For a decade, Logan owned a solar company alongside his family’s electrical business in the U.S. In 2021, he was looking for a change and sold the business, bought an RV, and traveled all the way down the Baja peninsula with his wife and three kids. You can probably guess how the story goes from here. After spending a bit of time in the Todos Santos area, Logan and his family knew they were home.

It didn’t take long for Logan to start helping friends and neighbors their solar energy needs. It was clear there was a demand for reliable equipment and trustworthy installs. And that’s how LRG Energy Baja was born.
